Wild Birds

I took most of the pictures

in Germany. They are complemented by pictures from India, Sri Lanka, Croatia,

Italy, Greece, Egypt, Cuba, Dominican Republic, and U.S.A.

Dragonflies

The majority of pictures of dragonflies was taken in Germany. A few are from other countries but I still need to determine some species.

Birds in Zoos and Parks

Most species shown here can be found in "Weltvogelpark Walsrode". In addition, I included pictures from the Loro Parque Tenerife, the zoo of Leipzig, and some smaller parks.

Butterflies

These picture were taken in Germany, India, Sri Lanka, Dominican Republic, Croatia, Cuba, and

Mexico.

Fish

My holidays in Egypt and snorkeling in the reefs of the red sea provided great opportunities to take pictures of underwater wildlife. Some photos were

taken in the Caribbean (Cuba, Dominican Republic, and Mexico)
